I know you don’t want to wait another minute…tomorrow may be a special day! And you want to look like a million bucks: fresh, and beautiful. However, wrinkles are jeopardizing your plans. The fine lines on your face are all you can focus on!
“Can I reduce wrinkles in a few hours?” If you’re pondering this question, allow me to say, yes! Of course you can. There are some lesser known ways which are my secret weapon! My tested and true tips can reduce the look of wrinkles, and let your youthful radiance shine again.
Now, before you click away in disbelief, of course, I know banishing face wrinkles is a long process. It has several aspects; it requires at least 3 – 4 weeks, before you see that the wrinkles on your face are slowly starting to fade away, But, there are still some ways which can slough the dead cells and help you to quickly rejuvenate your skin. All you need is some specific ingredients from your kitchen, and a few hours.
So, are you ready to reveal fresher, more radiant skin? Let’s begin.
Honey + Yogurt Mask
The first step is the honey and yogurt mask, and it should be applied at least 2-3 hours before going to bed. The honey yogurt mask is better-than-every-trend; even Cleopatra of ancient Egypt used to apply this mask to stay youthful in her time. The best thing about this mask is that it’s 100% natural, and it’s beneficial for all skin types. The second best? It’s cheap, fast, and economical to make.
First, let’s look at the benefits of the ingredients. Yogurt is a vitamin-packed food, and all professional aestheticians believe that its healthy nutrients not only banish wrinkles, but also make your skin healthy and glow. For instance, the Zinc in yogurt reduces acne, red swellings, and evens out skin tone. It also tightens the tissues, and reproduces them, which in actuality reduces the wrinkles (from the lactic acid) and gives you smooth and radiant skin. Yogurt is high in calcium and vitamin B, which is believed to shrink and tighten large pores of skin. Lastly, it also lessens the visibility of moles and acne, if you’re struggling with both/either of them.
Honey – the natural, delicious, and golden liquid – does wonders for your skin too. According to researcher, it acts as an anti-aging agent and facilitates the skin’s ability to rejuvenate. Especially when it comes to reducing the wrinkles, it’s the match-winner. In the long run, it also prevents bacterial buildup that can lead to wrinkles, and skin imbalances. Women from ancient times also used honey to keep their skin youthful, glowing, and wrinkle-free.
All you need is to have 2 tablespoons of yogurt and add 1 tablespoon of honey in it. Next, blend them well for a minute to create the mixture. Now, wash your face with facial cleanser and pat dry. Spread the mixture on your face, massaging it into your face, and leave it on for at least 20 minutes.
When twenty minutes has passed, gently rinse your face with the warm water and remove the mask. Once you feel that all of the mixture is off, rinse your face again, but with cold water, to close up your pores. Pat your face dry again with the soft towel.
Get a Good Night’s Sleep
Without this second step, it would be tough for you to be wrinkle free by the morning. Research shows that people who sleep less than 5 hours each night are the prime victims of wrinkles. Furthermore, they also recover from the sunburn slower than those who sleep around 8 hours*.
Yale Dermatologist, Nicholas Perricone, MD, who is a board certified nutritionist too, has written several books on maintaining the appearance of youth, and supports this study as well. He says that when you don’t get enough sleep, your body produces a hormone which breaks down skin cells. On the other hand, when you get enough sleep, your body starts producing more HGH (Human Growth Hormone), which not only keeps your skin more thick and elastic, but also doesn’t allow wrinkles to appear.
So, if you want to appear wrinkle free tomorrow, it’s better to sleep well tonight; sleep for at least 8 hours, and I assure you, you’ll experience a fresh face and less facial wrinkles in the morning.
Yogurt + Lemon Mask
In the morning, rinse your face with cold water, and pat it dry. Now, before enjoying your breakfast, it’s important to apply a yogurt and lemon mask. It’s most effective in the morning, when your skin is fresh and full of energy. This is the last step!
We’ve already gone over the immense benefits of yogurt, however, when it comes to wrinkles and skin care, lemon also holds it’s own. It’s actually a lightening agent, as it clears and refreshes your skin, but at the same time, it reduces freckles, wrinkles, and crow’s feet on a grand scale. Apart from this, a lemon mask can also aid in diminishing scars, age spots, acne, and dead skin cells. It smoothes complexion, brightens the skin, and boosts collagen production.
The recipe for the yogurt and lemon mask is same as yogurt and honey mask. However, instead of honey, you’ll cut a lemon and add a few drops of it into the yogurt (2 spoons). Blend them together, creating a mixture, and apply it to your face. Let it rest for at least 20 minutes. After that, rinse your face with the warm water. Once the mask is off, rinse your face again, but with the cold water (again, to close up your pores), and pat your face dry with a soft towel.
All in all, these three steps are the untapped goldmine that you’ve been waiting for. Don’t think it’s just you who depends on the ingredients of the kitchen; even the hottest Hollywood superstars opt for natural treatments, rather than relying on the cosmetic products. They believe that natural treatments always produce positive end results, without any side effects.
So, are you ready to be wrinkle-free by the morning?
